Foodies is delighted to cater for schools in the area for the past 4 years. We are local and very flexible to meet individual schools wants and needs. We know how students at different ages differ in tastes and nutritional needs. Our meals plans are based on the food pyramid and nutrition standards and the options we provide are tailor-made to ensure students get exactly what is best for their ever growing bodies and minds, to get them the best start in life. All our meals are home-made by our chefs that have a passion for good food.
We offer extensive options for breakfast, lunch and snacks ranging from cooked hot meals, to ready-to-eat sandwiches, wraps and salads, to bottled water, fruit and snacks. Because our food is homemade, there are no preservatives or additives, we use a very limited amount of sugar and salt and we use low calorie butter. We feed students like they are our own children and offer them homemade, tasty and nutritious foods created at our custom built kitchen.
All can be ordered ahead and delivered to your school. We can cater for various dietary requirements. We also make food safety a priority, and our fully qualified team have an in-depth understanding of the HACCP plan requirements and are continuously involved in its implementation, monitoring and auditing. Our reliability is that we are there, every day that the schools are open with nutritious and tasty good food. We do our best to leave a very small footprint on the environment. In discussions with the schools we currently work with we have evolved our packaging criteria and our packaging is recyclable and biodegradable where possible.
Contact us with your requirements and we will be more than happy to discuss your needs and create a menu suitable for your school. We understand that each school is different, and we will meet specific needs and be flexible. At the heart of what we do is our passion for great tasting, healthy, locally sourced food. The menus are driven by our customers’ feedback and our extensive experience in the education sector.
